Divestment of a smaller development company
Dantherm has today sold its total share of 72,5% in the development company Danamics ApS to Østjysk Innovation A/S, which already owns 9% of the company. The selling price for the transferred shares is DKK 300,000 in cash.
Danamics ApS has developed a spot cooling technology using liquid metal. The technology has a variety of applications, but is initially focused on chip cooling in PCs. After more years of development the first products were launched on the market early 2010. The company, employing six persons, had no turnover in 2009 and has so far been loss-making.
Dantherm’s decision to divest Danamics ApS is due to the fact that the development company’s activities are not part of Dantherm’s future business strategy as mentioned in Dantherm’s interim report for the first three months of 2010. The divestment does not affect the previously announced expectations to revenue and profit for 2010.
