Water-cooled split air conditioner
for emergency cooling

Wednesday, February 14, 2018

When an indoor working environment becomes too hot, perhaps due to extreme weather or a sudden breakdown of existing air conditioning installations, you need a fast, easy and reliable solution to offer your clients.

The ACT 7 is a new mobile water-cooled split air conditioner, which fulfils emergency cooling requirements.

Differing from more common air cooled units, the ACT 7 air conditioner will provide whole room cooling without the need to continually exhaust internal air. As an additional bonus, the unit does not require an exhaust air duct to an outside wall.

The ACT 7 is supplied complete with a heat reject unit that can be placed up to 30 meters away from the indoor unit and connected with quick-connect hoses.

Built to withstand wear and tear

The ACT 7 is primarily designed for the small scale commercial cooling sector, and we have constructed the product to withstand the wear and tear of rental markets.

With easy installation and quick connection of cooling line connectors the ACT 7 reduce air conditioning downtime to a minimum.

How it works

The ACT 7 consists of a room unit and an outdoor heat reject unit connected by two quick-connect sealing hoses. The room unit takes up the heat in a refrigerant circuit and transfers this energy to a water-cooled condenser, from where the heat is rejected to the outdoor unit.

Key features:

  • Flexible and lightweight unit
  • Easy installation
  • Indoor unit with variable fan speed and adjustable air outlet grille
  • Outdoor heat reject unit with EC fan
  • Cooling capacity up to 7 kW
  • Condensate pump with 10 m head and alarm

Applications:

  • Offices
  • Server rooms
  • Data centres
