Dantherm launches new
energy saving ventilation
unit for deployable
mobile field camps

At this year's DSEI exhibition in London, Dantherm launches a new highly-efficient add-on heat exchanger unit, designed to supply and exchange fresh air into containers. The new device is able to save up to 50 % of the energy consumption for containerized solutions - accommodation, offices and any other manned applications.

It is a known fact that heating, cooling and air conditioning (HVAC) accounts for up to 80 % of the energy consumption in the larger field camps. This is a heavy burden in any country's MoD budget. As a producer of HVAC equipment, Dantherm is responsbile for constantly working on reducing this expenditure.

With an HXM 100 ventilation unit, the cold air is used to cool down the warmer fresh air through the heat exchanger before it enters the container. This minimizes the operation time of climate units.
