The Dantherm Group today announced an executive appointment designed to help drive the company’s next phase in its ongoing mission to satisfy and surpass the heating, cooling, drying and ventilation requirements of professionals across numerous industries. Karen Østergaard, Master of Business Administration and MSc in strategic planning and marketing, joins the company as chief marketing officer of the Dantherm Group.

Tasked with articulating and growing Dantherm Group’s leadership position in the very competitive international air handling space, Østergaard will focus on streamlining and strengthening the Group’s brand identity as a whole and in terms of owned in-house brands.

Karen Østergaard is 57 years old and holds nearly 30 years of marketing & branding leadership experience from the industrial BTB, marketing agency and food industry spaces where she has consistently remained dedicated to drive repeat sales and customer satisfaction. Most recently, Østergaard was the Head of Brand & Concept for the Danish furniture design company BoConcept.

“Cooperating closely with Dantherm Group’s executive management team, my first main task is to define, communicate and implement the right brand strategy for the entire Group across all brands and regions in order to continue and boost the current positive market development trends the Dantherm Group is experiencing,” Karen states and adds: “the aim in everything I do is to maximise client reach and impact of our marketing efforts while ensuring we address and deliver to the real needs of individual clients. We do so by sharing and constantly expanding more than six decades of accumulated expert knowledge,” she ends.

With the new chief marketing officer in place, Dantherm Group further strengthens its efforts with the many opportunities that exist in the continued development of the business in current and new markets and through further acquisitions.

Dantherm was acquired by the Swedish private equity fund Procuritas PCI V in January 2016. Since then, Dantherm Group’s revenue has tripled to around 1 billion DKK through organic growth and acquisitions, and today Dantherm Group employs around 600 people across several continents.
